Exercise regularly, even indoors, to improve circulation and overall health.
Keep your surroundings dry and clean to prevent mosquito breeding and fungal infections.
Wear dry clothes and keep your feet clean and dry to avoid skin infections.
According to Ayurveda, favor warm, light, and easily digestible foods during the rainy season.
Use digestive spices such as ginger, turmeric, cumin, black pepper, and coriander in moderation.
Avoid overeating, excessive fried foods, and very cold drinks, as they may weaken digestion.
Start the day with warm water to support hydration and digestion.
Practice yoga, pranayama, and meditation to reduce stress and promote overall well-being.
Ayurvedic herbs such as tulsi, guduchi (giloy), and amla are traditionally used to support wellness; consult a qualified healthcare professional before using herbal supplements, especially if you have medical conditions or take medications.
If you develop fever, persistent diarrhea, severe cough, or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention promptly.
Keep routine vaccinations up to date and follow local public health advice during the monsoon.
Limit exposure to contaminated floodwater and wear protective footwear outdoors.
By combining evidence-based hygiene, nutritious eating, regular physical activity, and appropriate Ayurvedic lifestyle practices, you can support your health throughout the monsoon season.
