I grew up in a dysfunctional family full of domestic abuse, women were beaten up all the time, by their husbands.

Infact, my mother got beaten by her own father for getting divorced from an abusive man.

In turn, I got beaten up and abandoned by my mother for non-compliance (behavior, marks, crushing on boys, and finally choosing divorce). My biological father abandoned me in wake of a male child just as an infant.

That’s how the pattern of control works (patriarchy, etc)
- Getting punished for making choices your self, your peace, your life, for being yourself and the pattern carries on.

While I tried to comply as a daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, mother for years, my spirit broke and died inside me. Until one fine day, my spirit rose and said, “THIS IS IT”.

A life of pure magic opened after that.

I build a deep relationship with myself, with my body, with my heart, with my spirit.

My relationship with other women healed.

My relationship with The Greater Mother - Nature became really deep. And, that changed everything. The Mother of all, accepts unconditionally, gives, supports, loves, forgives with all generosity, doesn’t ask for anything. That experience changed everything for me.

Today as a mother, accepting and supporting my child is the bare minimum. It’s not heroism, it’s parenting. And anytime someone says, you’re doing great as a parent, I ask myself “What am I doing to be called a great parent?”

To be honest, I am just being a mother, allowing love to be at the core. When I do that, nature takes over. It’s so natural to love a child when conditions are removed.

I am on a journey to discover what unconditional love is really as a human while life is happening constantly.

Reminding every parent here that providing for your child is the bare minimum. I see that you’re working really hard for it, however, it’s not special.

Accepting, loving, respecting, honoring them is!!

This process becomes natural when you love the child inside yourself first. It’s never late to start that journey, I am@cheering for you!!!

A loving world starts at home 💕

Every child is born with joy in them!!

Ever noticed how they look at themselves, their hands, their feet and themselves in mirror, after dressing up, first walk, first word, full of awe and eyes full of so much joy 🤩

That’s what Maa Kali is all about, being unapologetically joyful. Joy is the fierce, joy is the rebel, joy is the nector of life.

Claiming back our joy in a life that keeps pulling us otherwise. Joy is the Power 🫶 Nature brings out that wilderness in me, what brings the wilderness / joy out in you?

A different weekend!
A different meal!!
A different experience!!!

Moments of Awe 🥰 and Moments of Distress ☹️

A theatrical lunch organised by

Loved the way it is curated, with the backdrop of 1960s, amazing performances by artists, great tasting foods. Social evils brought out with so much vigor - Partition, Diet-based discrimination, Casteism conveyed beautifully.

However, some lingering thoughts:
- A lot of anticipation around when will the food arrive, made it a big stressful.
- Being a highly sensitive person, loud sounds of fighting or even conversations really close were disturbing
- At the time of serving sweet, a big sad performance happened which sort of took away from the food experience.
- Expected a little different meal (not Sadhya), living in Bangalore. Sadhya would be perfect for a non-south venue.

Food is consumed along with our emotional and mental state.

A few tweaks may make the food experience better, more wholesome and enjoyable. A beautiful initiative though!!

Women need Women! Period!!

The right ones
The heart centered ones
The magical ones

I grew up seeing women resent women, compete with each other, gossip about each other. Coz deep inside every woman also had these feelings for herself. Not that she wanted it that way, but, she was trained to resent herself which made it easier to control her.

Last few years of healing work on myself, my own body has led me to break free from these moulds and find deep grounding in my body, in my womanhood, my sexuality, my feminity. Which has also led me to see other women in the same light, in their truth, in their magic.

I recently met few women, all new to me ’s birthday celebration. While I was awkward when I entered seeing new faces, eventually, I found a rhythm and place in the group.

I left joyful after loads of laughter, fun, talking about a spectrum of things, discovering how similar we are than we are different.

Our bodies, our biology, our stories, our journeys, our struggles, our wins, our joys. Most of all our womb and our blood.

We are all Blood sisters (the blood we meet every month)

Women are each other’s safe place, when they come together with open hearts in compassion.

The beauty is that I slept all of the next day after meeting them, with the amount of grounding I felt in that gathering. Thank you 🤗❤️

I am even more inspired to create safe women spaces and gatherings. Do you want it too?

(Dil)li, sach mein Dil le li is baar ❤️

I got to meet the young girl inside me who was ready to conquer the world with her optimism, happiness, never-give-up attitude and definitely a heart that knew how to love 💗

That young girl got to met this version of her, who knows how to receive love 🥰 and with that the circle of love ⭕️ got completed.

I left Delhi in 2010 half and came full circle in 2026. This trip was full of home coming, to Delhi, to myself, to love.

Self-love has been a journey of self-discovery at every stage for me. This short journey was a gentle reminder of not accepting anything and everything in the name of home or family, instead only unconditional love ❤️

_The Va**na Monologues!_

This play entered my life in a very intriguing way back in 2022. I decided to perform it, since a friend mentioned, “_there’s life before Va**na Monologues and there’s life after Va**na Monologues_”. Was that true? Well, the truest thing I had ever heard!

Recently, I also got to witness an Indianised version of the same by a theatre company.

Crafted by Eve Ensler in 1996, this play weaves intimate stories from over 200 women’s voices into a powerful tapestry of raw emotion and unfiltered truth. Born from heartfelt interviews, it shatters silence around the female body, embracing joy, pain, love, and violation with tender courage.

The power this play holds can’t be described in words. There isn’t a single woman who wouldn’t relate to it. It is me! It is you! It is each one of us!

I have been presented with the opportunity to perform this again and I wish to include you in that.

Since 2022, my body had started to accumulate fat following my maternal uncle’s death and my mom’s cancer discovery and treatment. She did it to protect me, process grief, keep me safe, not make me feel lonely and so much more.

And, post my mom’s death in Feb 2025, some things with my body worsened. Of course, she wanted attention now!

I brought my focus back from everything else to my health.

Started with making different food choices.
- Joined Swimming Lessons with , I absolutely loved it
- Did couple of courses of Thetahealing focused on Health, Intuitive Anatomy & Rhythm to a Perfect Weight
- Hiked a lot and started hiking with
- Joined ’s fitness program and created new habits of food and exercise with her
- ⁠Did multiple healings with fellow-healers from things that came up with health, especially
- Went to Jindal Naturecure for 9 days for a complete year-end detox. Started aerobics, gym there, which felt so good.
- ⁠Most importantly, started accepting a lot of good things told me from fitness perspective, which I was rejecting earlier, but, started accepting when I paid someone else to say the same things to me 😅😂

Honestly, none of this came easy, but, it was totally worth it.

Choosing health and honoring my body is the greatest gift I offered myself this year.

Continuing with walks, hikes, gym and badminton now, the feeling of the body being able to do things it wasn’t able to do earlier is amazing ❤️ All this at 43, its never too late to start.

And, I officially have my first white hair this year!!!
