seated knee extensions, hamstring stretches, straight leg raises, and sit-to-stand movements. These low-impact movements, which can be done daily, improve mobility, stability, and pain managementStrengthening Exercises.
1.Seated Knee Extension: Sit straight in a chair, slowly straighten and raise one leg, hold for 5–10 seconds, and lower slowly. This strengthens the quadriceps.
2.Straight Leg Raise (Lying): Lie on your back, bend one knee, and keep the other straight. Lift the straight leg to about 12 inches and hold for 5 seconds.
3.Side-Lying Leg Raise: Lie on your side and raise your top leg slowly to work hip abductors, which support knee stability.
4.Sit-to-Stand (Mini Squat): Using a chair, slowly stand up and sit down without using your hands to strengthen quadriceps and glutes.
5.Hamstring Curls (Standing): Standing, lift your heel toward your buttock, holding a chair for balance, to strengthen the back of the leg.Flexibility & Mobility Exercises
6. Hamstring Stretch (Seated): Sit on the edge of a chair, straighten one leg, and gently lean forward with a straight back until you feel a stretch.
7. Quad Stretch (Standing): Stand holding a chair, bend your knee, and pull your heel toward your buttock for a stretch in the thigh.
8. Calf Stretch: Place hands on a wall, step one leg back, keeping the heel on the floor, and lean forward.
9. Clamshells: Lie on your side with knees bent, lifting your top knee while keeping ankles together to strengthen the hips.
10. Heel Slides (Seated): Sit on the floor and slowly slide your heel toward your buttocks to increase knee flexion.
