DVC Hospital and Research Centre Conducts CME on Critical Care Cardiology and Point-of-Care Ultrasound
Vadlamudi, 23 August 2026: DVC Hospital and Research Centre, Vadlamudi, conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme focused on the practical aspects of Critical Care Cardiology and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).
The CME was designed to bridge the gap between updated medical knowledge and its application at the bedside, particularly in the management of critically ill patients. The programme emphasised accurate assessment, timely decision-making and safe, precise treatment in critical care settings.
The sessions on Critical Care Cardiology addressed important cardiovascular issues encountered in critically ill patients, while Point-of-Care Ultrasound focused on its practical application for rapid bedside assessment and clinical decision-making.
The organisers highlighted that critical care requires not only up-to-date knowledge but also the ability to apply that knowledge rapidly and accurately at the bedside. Training in contemporary approaches such as critical care cardiology and POCUS can help healthcare professionals improve diagnostic precision and deliver safer patient care.
