রথে তু বামনং দৃষ্ট্বা পুনর্জন্ম ন বিদ্যতে।
ভক্তসমাজে বহুল প্রচলিত এই শ্লোকের মর্মার্থ হল, রথে আরূঢ় শ্রীজগন্নাথের দর্শন ভক্তকে পুনর্জন্মের বন্ধন থেকে মুক্তির পথে এগিয়ে দেয়। এই বিশ্বাসেই যুগ যুগ ধরে অসংখ্য ভক্ত রথযাত্রার পুণ্যলগ্নে প্রভুর দর্শন ও তাঁর কৃপালাভের আশায় সমবেত হন।
রথযাত্রা কেবল একটি বার্ষিক উৎসব নয়। এটি ভক্ত ও ভগবানের চিরন্তন মিলনের এক পবিত্র উপলক্ষ। এই দিন শ্রীজগন্নাথ, প্রভু বলভদ্র ও দেবী সুভদ্রা শ্রীমন্দিরের গর্ভগৃহ থেকে বেরিয়ে দিব্য রথে আরোহণ করে সকলের মাঝে আসেন। যেন প্রভু নিজেই তাঁর ভক্তদের কাছে এসে আশীর্বাদের হাত বাড়িয়ে দেন। তাই রথযাত্রা আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়, ভগবানের কৃপা লাভের জন্য দূরত্ব কখনও বাধা হয়ে দাঁড়ায় না। প্রয়োজন শুধু আন্তরিক ভক্তি, বিশ্বাস ও আত্মসমর্পণ।
এই পবিত্র তিথিতে শ্রীজগন্নাথের কৃপা আপনার জীবন ভরিয়ে তুলুক শান্তি, আত্মিক শক্তি, শুভতা ও অন্তরের প্রশান্তিতে। তাঁর আশীর্বাদে আপনার জীবনের প্রতিটি পথ হয়ে উঠুক মঙ্গলময়।
