మెన్స్ట్రువల్ కప్ బెటరా? లేక శానిటరీ ప్యాడ్ బెటరా?

హైజీన్ పరంగా చూస్తే రెండూ సురక్షితమైనవే. అయితే వాటి ఉపయోగించే విధానం వేరు.

Sanitary Pads వల్ల కొందరికి స్కిన్ ర్యాషెస్, ఇర్రిటేషన్ రావచ్చు.

Menstrual Cup వాడేటప్పుడు చేతుల పరిశుభ్రత చాలా ముఖ్యం. చేతులను సబ్బుతో బాగా కడగకుండా వాడితే ఇన్ఫెక్షన్ల ప్రమాదం ఉంటుంది.

సరైన విధంగా ఉపయోగిస్తే Menstrual Cup వల్ల పెద్దగా ఇన్ఫెక్షన్లు రావు. అంతేకాదు:

మెన్స్ట్రువల్ కప్ అందరూ వాడచ్చా?

మెన్స్ట్రువల్ కప్ గురించి చాలా మందికి ఒకే సందేహం ఉంటుంది, "ఇది అందరికీ సరిపోతుందా?"

డాక్టర్ సమాధానం:
✔️ వర్జిన్స్ కూడా వాడవచ్చు, కానీ ఇన్‌సర్ట్ చేయడం కొంచెం కష్టంగా ఉండొచ్చు. కంఫర్ట్ లేకపోతే బలవంతం చేయాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.

✔️ Copper-T లేదా Mirena (IUCD) ఉన్నవారు కప్ తీసేటప్పుడు జాగ్రత్త అవసరం. కొన్ని సందర్భాల్లో దాని దారాలు లాగబడే అవకాశం ఉండొచ్చు. అందుకే డాక్టర్ సలహాతోనే ఉపయోగించడం మంచిది.

✔️ Fibroids, Adenomyosis లేదా Endometriosis ఉన్నా సాధారణంగా మెన్స్ట్రువల్ కప్ వాడొచ్చు. ఇవి కప్ ఉండే భాగానికి సంబంధం ఉండవు.

❌ అయితే యోని ఇన్‌ఫెక్షన్ ఉన్నప్పుడు మాత్రం మెన్స్ట్రువల్ కప్ ఉపయోగించకండి.

ప్రతి మహిళ శరీరం వేరు. మీకు ఏది సౌకర్యంగా ఉంటుందో, మీ గైనకాలజిస్ట్ సలహాతో నిర్ణయం తీసుకోండి.

HPV Vaccine మార్చాలా? Gardasil 4 వేసుకున్న తర్వాత Gardasil 9 అవసరమా?

HPV vaccines ప్రస్తుతం మూడు రకాలుగా అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి:
• Cervavac (Indian Vaccine)
• Gardasil 4
• Gardasil 9

చాలామంది అడిగే ప్రశ్న:
"నేను ఇప్పటికే Gardasil 4 తీసుకున్నాను. ఇప్పుడు Gardasil 9 తీసుకుంటే అదనపు protection వస్తుందా?"

ప్రస్తుతం దీనికి స్పష్టమైన శాస్త్రీయ ఆధారాలు లేవు. అదనపు ప్రయోజనం ఉంటుందో లేదో ఇప్పటికీ నిర్ధారణ కాలేదు.

ప్రస్తుతం FDA సూచన ఏమిటంటే:
మీరు ఒక HPV vaccine schedule‌ను పూర్తిగా పూర్తి చేసి ఉంటే, కొత్త vaccine అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చినందుకు మళ్లీ vaccination తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. పూర్తి చేసిన vaccine schedule మీకు HPV-related cancers నుంచి రక్షణను అందిస్తుంది.

HPV Vaccine వల్ల Side Effects ఉంటాయా?

HPV Vaccine గురించి చాలా మందికి ఒకే సందేహం ఉంటుంది.

"ఈ Vaccine వల్ల Side Effects వస్తాయా?"

సమాధానం: సాధారణంగా తీవ్రమైన Side Effects ఉండవు.

✅ ఈ Vaccine చాలా సంవత్సరాలుగా సురక్షితంగా ఉపయోగిస్తున్నారు.
✅ సాధారణంగా జ్వరం లేదా తీవ్రమైన అలసట వంటి సమస్యలు రావు.
✅ Periods సమయంలో కూడా తీసుకోవచ్చు.
✅ Periods ముందు లేదా తర్వాత కూడా తీసుకోవచ్చు.
✅ Non-veg తిన్నా కూడా Vaccine తీసుకోవడంలో ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బంది లేదు.
✅ Fever ఉన్నప్పుడు మాత్రమే కొంతకాలం వాయిదా వేయాలని వైద్యులు సూచిస్తారు.

Vaccine తీసుకున్న తర్వాత మీరు మీ రోజువారీ పనులు, School, College లేదా Officeకి సాధారణంగా వెళ్లవచ్చు. Injection ఇచ్చిన చోట కొద్దిగా నొప్పి తప్ప సాధారణంగా ఎలాంటి Restrictions ఉండవు.

HPV Vaccine అబ్బాయిలకూ అవసరమా?

చాలామంది HPV Vaccine అంటే అమ్మాయిల కోసమే అనుకుంటారు. కానీ అది పూర్తి నిజం కాదు.

ప్రపంచంలోని చాలా దేశాల్లో, ముఖ్యంగా అమెరికా, యూరప్, ఇంగ్లాండ్, ఆస్ట్రేలియా వంటి దేశాల్లో అమ్మాయిలతో పాటు అబ్బాయిలకూ HPV Vaccine ఇస్తారు.

ఎందుకంటే HPV వైరస్ వల్ల అబ్బాయిల్లో కూడా:
✔️ పురుషాంగం (Pe**le) Cancer
✔️ నోటి (Oral) Cancer
✔️ గొంతు (Throat) Cancer
✔️ మలద్వారం (A**l) Cancer వంటి క్యాన్సర్లు వచ్చే ప్రమాదం ఉంటుంది.

భారతదేశంలో ప్రస్తుతం అమ్మాయిల్లో HPV వల్ల వచ్చే క్యాన్సర్ల ప్రమాదం ఎక్కువగా ఉండటంతో వారికి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నారు. కానీ అవకాశం ఉంటే అబ్బాయిలకూ ఈ Vaccine వేయించడం చాలా మంచిది.

HPV Vaccine అమ్మాయిలకు ఎంత ముఖ్యమో, అబ్బాయిలకూ అంతే ముఖ్యమైన రక్షణ.
