আজকাল চারদিকে আধ্যাত্মিকতা বা 'Spirituality' নিয়ে এত চর্চা, এত নিয়মকানুন, আর এত রকমের মতবাদ যে মাঝে মাঝে আসল সত্যিটাই ঢাকা পড়ে যায়। আমরা প্রায়ই ভাবতে শুরু করি যে হয়তো ভোরবেলা উঠে ধ্যান করা, কঠিন কোনো সাধনা বা কিছু নির্দিষ্ট আচার মেনে চলাই বোধহয় spiritual practice।

কিন্তু সত্যিটা একেবারেই তা নয়। আধ্যাত্মিকতা আসলে একটা অত্যন্ত ব্যক্তিগত (individualistic) যাত্রা। এখানে কোনো "One size fits all" বা সবার জন্য এক নিয়মের ফর্মুলা চলে না। আপনার অন্তরের সাথে আপনার সংযোগ কেমন হবে, সেটা সম্পূর্ণ আপনার নিজস্ব রসায়ন।

জীবন মানেই অন্ধ বিশ্বাস নয়। গতানুগতিক পথ চলাও নয়।আবার শুধুই অতিরিক্ত ইতিবাচক হওয়াও নয়।
