MIS decompression and interbody fusion dorsal spine (D10/11) tubercular spondylodiscitis with paraplegia ( ASIA B ) .

Post op patient had good clinical and radiological outcome
Neurologically he has recovered from ASIA B to D with post Op MRI shows good decompression and x rays showing Bridwell Grade 3 fusion .

( micro endoscopic decompression) through tubes is my fist choice in recurrent disc prolapse .

This young women with a of > 43 , who has had previous discectomy 5 yrs back presented with severe radiculopathy, which failed conservative treatment ( Nerve root Block ) .

She came to my clinic for her opinion regarding fusion / non fusion surgery .

As she had minimal back and no instability on dynamic x ray , I opted for microendoscopic decompression through tube ( 9 cm long )

She has made full recovery following surgey.

A CT scan is must to plan ( to see bony lateral recess ) and execute the revision MIS decompression .

Previously L45 decompression done elsewhere , this CKD ( chronic kidney disease ) patient on dialysis , presented to me with severe back and leg pain . A grade 2 spondylolisthesis patient with a previous spine surgery is always a challenge but was done successfully with a MIS ( Key Hole ) technique avoiding previous scar tissue using a very small incision ( 2.5 cm ) .
