Even a small achievement means a huge to milestone development for our kids. My daughter now 5 yrs promoted to kg with good grades. It felt like she passed board exam with flying colours.
It also again made me realised that there is nothing our kids can't do. Its just they take little more time than neuro typical kids. All they need is consistency and patience and ofcourse immense trust and love AND THEY ARE DONE.
AUTISM IS JUST A DISORDER NOT OBSTACLES TO LIFE.

It's been months my daughter just like all other kids is locked up in home bcos of COVID.
BUT WHAT IS COVID? WHAT IS ITS THREAT? CAN ANY KID AUTIST OR NON AUTIST UNDERSTAND IT. No..they cannot
I thought of starting and teaching few things to my daughter during this lockdown... like self feeding with spoon.. toilet training.. drawing..writing..

I started them one by one.. she learnt.. she forgot.. then again learn then again forgot..

Every learning gives me hope.. her forgetting pulls me down.. but in all this process I learned one thing... my daughter tried and put her effort in every session... whether she achieves or fails she sails with me without any rejection or saying NO.

This is what I learn from her... probably she knows her challenges already.. so she doesn't defy with my teaching.. I LOVE HER

I made this page with one just simple intention. I would like all whether parents or therapists or psychologists or anyone connected with disabilities or disorders to join the page and pour knowledge about Autism. The word "AUTISM" is vast. The symptoms.. the remedy.. the therapy.. the life.. they all vary one to one so understanding Autism is not that simple either. I being a mother of autist keep looking for any measure that I can take to help my daughter. AUTISM cannot be outgrown.. but certainly can be dealt.
All that requires is the right knowledge and guidance. This page is just for it. So that we can help each other.
