Toilet Training Series | Episode 1

"2 saal ho gaye... ab toilet training shuru kar deni chahiye?"

Har baar jawab 'haan' nahi hota.

Toilet training ka best time sirf age se decide nahi hota. Sabse important hai ki bachcha ready ho.

Agar aapka bachcha:
2 ghante ya usse zyada diaper dry rakhta hai
Potty ya bathroom mein interest dikhata hai
Simple instructions follow kar leta hai
Khud pant upar-neeche karne ki koshish karta hai
..toh ye signs hain ki woh toilet training ke liye ready ho sakta hai.

Yaad rakhiye, har bachcha apni speed se develop karta hai. Jaldi shuru karna hamesha jaldi success ki guarantee nahi hota.

Patience, encouragement aur positive approach hi successful toilet training ki sabse badi key hai.

Aapke bachche ki toilet training kis age mein shuru hui? Comments mein zaroor batayiye. 👇

Gussa problem nahi hai... usse handle karne ka tareeka zaroor important hai.

Har bachcha kabhi na kabhi gussa karta hai. Humein uske emotions ko reject nahi, samajhna aur sahi direction dena hai.

Bachche humari baaton se kam, aur humare behavior se zyada seekhte hain. Jab hum shaant rehte hain, woh bhi dheere-dheere apne emotions ko regulate karna seekhte hain.

Yaad rakhiye— "Gussa aana theek hai. Lekin maarna ya cheezen phekna theek nahi hai."

Ek calm parent hi ek emotionally strong bachcha banane ki sabse badi shuruaat hai.

Aapka bachcha gussa hone par sabse zyada kya karta hai? Comments mein zaroor batayein.

Har baar "Rona band karo" kehna bachche ko strong nahi banata.

Kabhi-kabhi usse sirf ek sawaal chahiye hota hai— "Tum upset lag rahe ho... bataoge kya hua?"

Jab bachcha apni feelings ko bina judge hue express kar pata hai, tab woh unhe samajhna aur dheere-dheere regulate karna bhi seekhta hai.

Emotional regulation sikhayi nahi jaati sirf... Woh relationship ke through develop hoti hai.

Aaj se ek chhota sa change kijiye— Reaction kam, connection zyada.

Aapke ghar mein jab bachcha rota hai, aap usually kya bolte hain? Comments mein zaroor batayiye.

Save kijiye. Share kijiye un parents ke saath jinke liye yeh message helpful ho sakta hai.

Guests aate hi bachcha mummy ke peeche chhup jaata hai?

Har shy bachche ko "overcome" karna zaroori nahi hota.

Bahut se bachche naturally shy temperament ke hote hain. Yeh koi disease ya weakness nahi hai. Har bachcha extrovert ya social butterfly nahi hota.

Usko force mat kijiye— "Uncle ko poem sunaao!" "Sabko hello bolo!"

Bachche ko apni speed se comfortable hone dijiye. Pyaar, patience aur support se confidence dheere-dheere develop hota hai.

Lekin agar shyness ki wajah se school, dosti, communication ya daily life significantly affect hone lage, to ek Pediatrician ya Child Psychologist se assessment karwana sahi rahega.

Confidence support se banta hai, pressure se nahi.

A New Chapter. A New Responsibility. A Renewed Commitment.

I am delighted to share that I have joined B.P. Poddar Hospital & Medical Research Ltd., Kolkata, as Consultant – Pediatrics & Neonatology.

This opportunity is particularly special because it goes beyond routine clinical practice. I have been entrusted with contributing to the development of a comprehensive neonatal service and helping establish a modern, evidence-based NICU that places quality, safety, teamwork, and compassionate care at its core.

Throughout my professional journey, I have been fortunate to work in diverse clinical environments, each adding valuable lessons and shaping my approach to neonatal and pediatric care. Every experience, every challenge, and every tiny life entrusted to us has reinforced one belief—that excellence in healthcare is built not only through clinical knowledge but also through systems, teamwork, continuous learning, and empathy.

As I begin this new journey, my focus remains the same:

- Deliver evidence-based, ethical, and compassionate care.
- Build strong clinical systems that improve outcomes.
- Support and mentor healthcare teams.
- Earn the trust of every family through sincerity, transparency, and commitment.

I sincerely thank my mentors, colleagues, nursing teams, friends, and the countless families who have been part of my journey so far. Your encouragement has played a significant role in bringing me here.

Every new beginning brings fresh challenges—and fresh opportunities to make a meaningful difference. I look forward to serving the newborns and children of our community with the same dedication that has guided me throughout my career.

Here's to building something that will make a lasting difference.

"Mera bachcha kisi ki baat hi nahi sunta!"

Kya sach mein bachchon ko selective hearing hoti hai?

Har baar nahi.

Aksar problem sunne ki nahi, attention ki hoti hai. Jab bachcha kisi game, TV ya activity mein deeply involved hota hai, uska brain usi cheez par focus karta hai. Isliye door se di gayi instructions ignore hona kaafi had tak normal hai.

Parents ke liye kuch simple tips:
Pehle eye contact banaiye.
Naam lekar bulaiye.
Short aur simple instructions dijiye.
Ek baar mein sirf ek hi kaam boliye.

Chhota sa communication change, bahut bada difference la sakta hai.

Kya aapke ghar mein bhi ye situation hoti hai? Comments mein zaroor batayiye.

Is reel ko un parents ke saath share kijiye jo roz ke "Sun hi nahi raha!" wale struggle se guzar rahe hain.

"Mera bachcha attention ke liye drama karta hai!"

Har baar nahi. Kabhi-kabhi attention-seeking behaviour sirf ek message hota hai: "Mujhe dekho. Mujhe suno. Mujhe connect karo."

Attention bachchon ki emotional zarurat hai, reward nahi.

Roz sirf 10–15 minute "special time" dijiye—bina mobile, bina TV.
Sirf shararat nahi, achhe behaviour ko bhi notice aur praise kijiye.
Calm rahiye, consistent rahiye.

Jab emotional tank bhar jaata hai, attention ke liye unnecessary behaviour aksar kam hone lagta hai.

Agar behaviour bahut severe ho, school, friendships ya daily life ko affect kar raha ho, ya kisi developmental concern ke saath ho, to pediatrician ya child psychologist se assessment zarur karaiye.

Kya aapke bachche mein bhi attention-seeking behaviour dikhta hai? Apna experience comments mein batayiye.

"Mera bachcha har baat par sirf 'NO' bolta hai!"

Kapde pehnoge? No!
Khaana khaoge? No!
Bahar chaloge? No!

Agar aapka toddler bhi aisa karta hai, toh har baar yeh zidd ya badtameezi nahi hoti.

18 mahine se 3 saal ke beech "No-No phase" bachche ke development ka ek normal hissa ho sakta hai. Is age mein woh yeh samajhna shuru karta hai ki uski bhi apni choice hai.

Isliye har baat ko power struggle mat banaiye.

Iske badle choice dijiye: "Red T-shirt pehnoge ya blue?"

Jab bachche ko do safe options milte hain, toh cooperation badhta hai aur unnecessary conflict kam ho sakta hai.

Yaad rakhiye, goal har "No" ko jeetna nahi... Goal hai bachche ko healthy independence sikhana.

Har behaviour ke peeche ek wajah hoti hai. Wajah samajh lenge, toh solution bhi mil jayega.

"Mera bachcha apne toys share hi nahi karta!"

Kya iska matlab woh selfish hai?

Har baar nahi.

3–4 saal se pehle sharing naturally expect karna realistic nahi hota. Is age mein bachche ownership ka concept samajhna seekh rahe hote hain.

Isliye baar-baar "Share karo!" kehna har baar effective nahi hota.

✨ Iske badle:
Sharing ko force mat kijiye.
Khud sharing ka example baniye.
Turn-taking sikhaiye.
Aur jab bachcha apni marzi se share kare, uski dil se tarif kijiye.

Yaad rakhiye...

Sharing ek skill hai, personality trait nahi. Aur har skill ki tarah ise bhi seekhne mein waqt lagta hai.

💙 Har behaviour ke peeche ek wajah hoti hai. Wajah samajh lenge, toh solution bhi mil jayega.

"Mera bachcha sabko maarta hai..."

Yeh sunna kisi bhi parent ke liye pareshan karne wala ho sakta hai.

Lekin yaad rakhiye—1½–3 saal ki age mein maarna, dhakka dena ya kaatna aksar isliye hota hai kyunki bachche ke paas apni feelings express karne ke liye words abhi poori tarah develop nahi hote.

Is behaviour ko ignore mat kijiye.
Lekin sirf daantna ya maarna bhi solution nahi hai.

Shaant lekin firm voice mein kahiye: "Maarna allowed nahi hai."

Saath hi bachche ko sikhaiye: "Gussa hai? Words use karo."

Aur jab woh achha behaviour dikhaye, uski tarif zaroor kijiye.

Har behaviour ke peeche ek wajah hoti hai. Wajah samajh lenge, toh solution bhi mil jayega.
