Another Great Human Being… The Egyptian Doctor, Kareem Abu Elmagd! ✨

Sharmin, a 24-year-old medical student from Bangladesh, had been living in unbearable pain for years. Severe abdominal agony… but no one could give her a proper diagnosis.

Being a medical student herself, she searched everywhere for answers. That’s when she heard about a brilliant Egyptian doctor — Dr. Kareem Abu Elmagd, the world-renowned head of the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department at Cleveland Clinic, U.S. He is so gifted, they call him “The Egyptian Magician.”

Sharmin took a leap of faith. She sent him her scans and reports. Dr. Kareem quickly identified her rare condition and told her that she needed a very complex intestinal surgery. But the cost in the U.S.? More than $500,000 — a sum that was completely impossible for her.

She couldn’t even afford the ticket to America. Both of them were heartbroken.

But then… Dr. Kareem made a decision that defines what it truly means to be a doctor, a human, and a role model.

💙 He brought Sharmin to Cairo University Hospitals.
💙 He performed the surgery himself.
💙 He did it free of charge.

Today, Sharmin is smiling again, alive and healthy, because one man chose humanity over money.

This is the picture of Sharmin and Dr. Kareem, after her successful surgery. A life saved. A future restored.

🌍 Be human. Be like Dr. Kareem.

🫀 Microplastics Found in Arteries — A Hidden Heart Risk? 🧪
New research has uncovered something shocking: microplastics and nanoplastics have been found inside arterial plaque removed from human patients. And those with higher levels of these plastics may face greater risks of stroke, heart attack, and even death.
📊 In one study of 257 patients:
- 60% had microplastics (mostly polyethylene) in their artery plaque.
- 12% had PVC particles.
- Over 3 years, those with plastic buildup were 4.5x more likely to suffer major cardiovascular events.
🧠 Another study on stroke survivors found:
- Symptomatic plaque had 51x more plastic particles than healthy arteries.
- Even asymptomatic plaque showed 16x higher levels.
- These plastics were linked to molecular changes in immune and stem cells — especially genes tied to inflammation and plaque instability.
⚠️ Scientists stress that these are early findings — observational, not yet proof of cause. But they raise serious questions about how plastic pollution might be silently affecting our health.
Could the microplastics in our environment be building up inside us — and reshaping our cardiovascular future?
