Mind over Matter (MOM): the body achieves what the mind believes!
This concept simply means that through the power of the mind and its thought process, we can make our body perform activities that we would otherwise view as extremely difficult or impossible.
The mind in this context refers to our thoughts, beliefs and intentions. Mind over matter therefore means your body having influence over your physical body and environment. Some call it MENTAL STRENGTH and RESILIENCE. Some call it WILLPOWER.
Simply put, mind over matter is putting INTENTION INTO ACTION, and committing to it no matter the adversity.
One of our group members, Bablu Gupta met with an accident four months back. Bablu injured his left ankle and left elbow severly. Though he has fully recovered from his ankle injury, he is stil on the road to recover wrt left elbow fracture.
Given the severity of his injury, he is not advised to put much weight on his left hand. But that didn't stop him from taking care of his body. He has been indulging himself in light exercises I am still not able to put much weight on my left hand. So, given the severity of the injury, I have been doing light exercises like walking, performing yoga.
