The department has completed more than 100 successful stem cell transplants and has an active ongoing matched unrelated donor (MUD) transplantation and haploidentical stem cell transplantation programme. It is an added seal of recognition that the institute is a member of National Marrow Donor Programme, USA (NMDP) in good standing since 2015.

Haematology Quiz 2026 | College Round

Knowledge, teamwork, and a passion for haematology came together as students from the Departments of **Medicine, Paediatrics, and Pathology** participated in the **College Round of the Haematology Quiz**, the institutional selection round for the **National Haematology Quiz – Haematocon 2026**.

The event began with a written screening round, followed by an exciting quiz that challenged participants on their clinical knowledge, diagnostic reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

A special thank you to **Dr. V. Sai Rajesh** and *Dr. Shruti Kakkar* for conducting an engaging and thought-provoking competition.

Congratulations to all the participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. We wish the winning team the very best as they go on to represent CMC Ludhiana at the National Haematology Quiz.
