Who is responsible for the baby’s gender? 👶🧬
Listen to Dr. Priyanka Sharma on this very important topic!
A common misconception is that the mother determines the baby’s s*x. But biologically, the male partner determines the chromosomal s*x of the baby.

The mother’s egg always carries an X chromosome, while the father’s s***m carries either an X or a Y chromosome.

* X s***m + X egg → XX (female)
* Y s***m + X egg → XY (male)

So, it’s not the woman’s responsibility—and certainly not her fault. Let’s replace myths with science. 🧬✨

This patient presented to us with a suspected ovarian malignancy. After a thorough clinical evaluation and detailed investigations, she was planned for surgery.

Intraoperatively, we found a huge dermoid cyst along with a uterus containing more than 40 fibroids. The dermoid cyst was removed, and a meticulous myomectomy was performed, successfully removing all the fibroids while preserving the uterus.

The patient is doing extremely well, recovering smoothly, and is on her way back to good health.

Thank you for your trust and faith in us. 😇🙏

Previously operated four times, with dense adhesions and morbid obesity—one of the most challenging surgical scenarios. Yet, the surgery was successfully completed laparoscopically, and the patient went home within a day.
That’s the true power of advanced laparoscopic surgery.

“Keep working hard and let your work speak for itself.”

One of the most rewarding moments as a surgeon is witnessing hope turn into reality.
A patient suffering from severe Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (DIE) with adenomyoma conceived naturally after surgery — a result that beautifully reflects the importance of meticulous and complete disease clearance in complex endometriosis cases.

DIE is not just a painful condition; it can silently affect every aspect of a woman’s quality of life, including fertility, physical health, emotional wellbeing, and relationships. Managing such cases requires patience, precision, experience, and a deep understanding of pelvic anatomy. Every surgery is more than just a procedure — it is an opportunity to restore comfort, confidence, and sometimes even the dream of motherhood.

Moments like these remind us why we chose this profession.
The joy of seeing a patient embrace a new beginning after years of pain and struggle is truly beyond words.

Grateful to God for giving us the skill, strength, and responsibility to make a difference in people’s lives and to be a small part of their most beautiful journeys. ✨

Conservative Surgery for Stage IV Endometriosis

This patient had previously undergone two surgeries for bilateral endometriomas. She presented again with severe abdominal pain and recurrence of the disease. A conservative surgical approach was undertaken with meticulous excision of endometriotic lesions while preserving reproductive organs.

Patient was operated twice before for endometriosis at various hospitals but there was no relief in symptoms.
