A Grand Convocation (DIKSHANT UTSAV) was organised by Aarogya Vidhya and Naturopathy Institute, Mohali affiliated with Gandhi Smarak Prakirtik Chikitsa Samiti New Delhi, at Khalsa College, Sector 53 Mohali. The event celebrated successful completion of Diploma in Naturopathy and Yoga (NDDY) by 64 students.
The ceremony commenced with lamp lighting and Shankh Naad by Ms Neetu Sharma followed by Saraswati Vandana By Dr R D Kailey. Chairman of Aarogya Vidhya and Naturopathy Institute Mohali, Dr. M P Dogra welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Naturopathy and Yoga in modern life. The Chief Guest, Shri Ram Gopal, DSP, Chandigarh Police, The Special Guest, Dr. Sachin Gupta, Director of Oncology, Max Hospital, Dr. Puneet Malik, Secretary of Gandhi Samarak Prakritik Chikitsa Samiti, New Delhi, Dr. Rajiv Kapila, Senior Physician (Ayurveda), Dr R D kailey (Retd Gen Manager PNB) , Mr Arun Nathani (Sub Editor Tribune) and Aditya Bhardwaj (Gandhi Samark Prakritik Chikitsa Samiti New Delhi, Jyotsna Sukhija, Rakesh Sukhija, Vinod Bhardwaj and Anjana Soni, Iqbal Kaur (Patanjali), Manjit Bhullar, Vinay Chauhan, Prof Vinod Chaudhary (Punjab University) Raswinder Kaur, Leeza Manocha, Dr Supriya Sharma, Ambika Dogra (Trustee AVANI), Mr Satpal Tonk (Chandigarh Senior Citizen Association), Savita Rani (Radha Madho Trust).
Around 64 students who completed the 3 years course were awarded diplomas during the ceremony. The moment marked a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey. The students expressed immense joy and gratitude in achieving this milestone and conveyed their commitment to serving society through the principles of natural healing.
The event concluded on a note of Thanks. Guests were honoured with mementoes and plants, symbolising health and sustainability.
