Just 10 minutes of short-burst exercise during the day can help improve cardiovascular fitness, stamina and VO₂ max, which reflects how efficiently your body uses oxygen.

Try alternating:

30 seconds of fast movement
30–60 seconds of easy recovery
Repeat for 8–10 minutes

Choose movements such as fast marching, step-ups, cycling, shadow boxing or low-impact jumping jacks.

The goal is not to exhaust yourself. The goal is to challenge your heart safely and consistently.

For better health and longevity, combine short-burst cardio with strength training, walking, mobility and proper recovery.
