🚨 Irregular periods are not “normal” if you’re trying to conceive.

🩸 Irregular periods can be a sign that ovulation is not happening regularly — making conception difficult.
Common causes include:
• PCOS
• Thyroid imbalance
• High prolactin
• Stress & poor sleep
• Excessive weight gain or weight loss
• Low ovarian reserve
⚠️ Signs your periods may be irregular:
• Cycles shorter than 21 days or longer than 35 days
• Skipping periods
• Very heavy or very scanty flow
• Unpredictable cycle dates
💡 The good news?
Most causes are treatable with the right evaluation and timely treatment.
📌 Don’t ignore irregular periods if pregnancy is getting delayed. Early diagnosis can improve fertility outcomes.

Your periods are like a monthly health report card for your fertility. If your cycles are irregular, your body may be signaling an underlying hormonal imbalance. The earlier you investigate, the better your chances of restoring regular ovulation and improving fertility.

DOs for Husbands Before IVF
1. Be informed
Understand the IVF process, timelines, and possible outcomes. It helps you support better and reduces anxiety for both.
2. Get evaluated early
Do your semen analysis and any advised tests on time—male factor matters just as much.
3. Adopt healthy habits
Quit smoking/alcohol
Maintain ideal weight
Eat balanced diet (nuts, fruits, proteins)
Sleep well
4. Support emotionally
Your partner may go through mood swings, injections, and stress—be patient, present, and reassuring.
5. Be available
Attend key appointments, especially consultations and important procedure days.
6. Follow abstinence advice
Typically 2–5 days before semen collection (as advised by your doctor).
7. Reduce stress
Practice relaxation, avoid overthinking—your calmness influences your partner.
DON’Ts for Husbands Before IVF
1. Don’t ignore your role
IVF is not just a “woman’s treatment”—your involvement is crucial.
2. Don’t delay tests or treatment
Timing is critical in IVF cycles.
3. Don’t take supplements blindly
Only take medications or antioxidants prescribed by your doctor.
4. Don’t expose yourself to heat/toxins
Avoid hot tubs, laptops on lap, tight underwear, and harmful chemicals.
5. Don’t add pressure
Avoid statements like “this has to work” — it increases emotional burden.
6. Don’t miss semen collection instructions
Improper timing or sample handling can affect results.
7. Don’t compare with others
Every couple’s journey is different.

IVF injections can be physically uncomfortable and emotionally overwhelming.
A supportive husband can make this phase much easier. 💉🤍
Here’s how you can help: • Be present at injection time
• Help prepare the medication & double-check the dose
• Offer reassurance and keep her calm
• Hold her hand or distract her during the injection
• Help with ice pack before/after if needed
• Keep track of the injection schedule
• Be patient with mood swings and emotions
• Appreciate her strength every single day
Sometimes the biggest support is simply saying —
"I’m right here with you." 🤍

Fertility treatment is not just her journey… it’s your journey together. 🤍
How husbands can truly support their wives during fertility treatment:
• Be present – attend appointments, ask questions, understand the process
• Listen more, fix less – sometimes she just needs to be heard
• Share the emotional load – the waiting, the uncertainty, the hope
• Help with medications & reminders – small acts, big comfort
• Protect her from pressure – family, timelines, unnecessary advice
• Be patient with mood swings – hormones + stress are real
• Celebrate small milestones – every step matters
• Remind her: “We’re in this together.”
Because the strongest support she can have…
is knowing she doesn’t have to go through it alone. 💫

Not every IVF cycle ends with a positive test…
And that doesn’t mean the journey ends.
A negative outcome brings disappointment, questions, and silence that only those who’ve walked this path understand.
But each cycle gives us answers, refines the plan, and brings us one step closer.
Take time to heal. Reset. Regroup.
Hope doesn’t end here — sometimes it just needs a new direction.
To every couple facing a negative IVF cycle:
Your courage to try again is stronger than any report. 🤍

The hardest part of IVF… isn’t the injections or procedures — it’s the waiting after embryo transfer. ⏳🤍
Every day feels longer.
Every symptom gets analyzed.
Every thought swings between hope and fear.
This two-week wait is not just about patience…
It’s about holding onto hope quietly. 🌱
To everyone waiting —
Stay positive, stay distracted, and be kind to yourself.
Your body is doing something beautiful. ✨
