Day is not just about how music sounds. It’s about what music does.

On World Music Day, as we celebrate music as something we listen to, let’s also notice how music can be used to respond, connect, and support people.

Our film featuring and , music therapists from the Chennai School of Music Therapy, opens a door into the world of music therapy, where rhythm, melody, and silence aren’t just art, but tools for healing, communication, regulation, and care. From children with developmental differences to patients in hospital wards, music becomes less of a performance and more of a bridge.

So if music has ever helped you feel steadier and lighter, this film on our Website is for you.

This Mother’s Day, let me invite you to look a bit further from the celebration and into the stories.

Over the years at Trinayani, our Founder-trustee Ritika Sahni has had the opportunity of meeting mothers from across the country, each with their own experiences, challenges, and victories.

Our website holds these voices, and many more, not as headlines, but as lived realities.

She knows each of them personally, and that’s what makes the stories so special. They’re not just accounts to document, they’re relationships, conversations, and shared moments.

Highlighting a few of the mothers today while imploring you to take a moment to explore their journeys on our Website at your own pace.

❤️ , let’s begin understanding by listening.
