Inauguration of Inspire Rehabilitation Center by Ram Nath Kovind

Selfless service for the rehabilitation of disabled children is appreciated. Former President Ram Nath Kovind asserted that human service is God's service.

He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of 'Inspire' rehabilitation center at Junapani near Hingany by the former President on Sunday. At this time, surgeon Dr. Viraj Shingade, Dr. Rashmi Shingade and others were present.

Mr. Kovind further said that various activities are being implemented by the Nagai Narayanji Memorial Foundation for the children of the remote areas. 15 thousand children are being given free treatment through physiotherapy, occupation therapy, special therapy and 10 thousand children are being given treatment through speech therapy, orthopedic therapy. He said that this center is useful with all the facilities as the patient needs physiotherapy in case of many diseases or many problems arise after an accident.

Information about the Inspire Center

The center is spread over four acres and has facilities such as recreation park, physiotherapy, orthotic unit, sports complex, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychological counselling. Children who require long-term treatment and their parents will be accommodated in a residential complex. Similarly, this area has been designed so that the sick children can move easily. In the future, an updated hospital, yoga center and meditation center will be constructed. By Viraj Shingade.

Former president of India honourable Ram Nath Kovind is in Nagpur on Sunday 9th April to inaugurate INSPIRE a comprehensive rehabilitation centre for children with locomotor disability at junewani Road, Hingna at 9am.

Guest of honour hon’ble Devendra Fadnavis deputy chief minister Maharashtra has consented to Grace the occasion.

Inspire stands for Institute of neurosciences, paediatric orthopaedic illnesses rehabilitation and education. Inspire has a team of highly qualified doctors and a well equipped therapy Centre accessible, recreation park, orthotic unit, residential facility and sports complex. Therapy unit provide physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and psychological counselling. Accessibility creation Park is specially designed with barrier free environment, accessible rides and sensory garden that provides fun in a therapeutic way. Orthotic unit manufactures, customised splints. Residential complex is for disabled kids who need long-term therapy and training of their parents in various therapy programs.

Nagai Narayanji Memorial Foundation (NNMF) and PRAVIRA Hospital Nagpur,jointly celebrates The World Disability Day
In order to empower the persons with disability WHO recognizes 3rd December as world disability day. Due to COVID 19 PANDEMIC persons with disability are the most affected population in the world.
NNMF and Children Orthopaedic Care Institute jointly celebrated the world disability day on 3rd December 2020. On this occasion an awareness drive was conducted. Around 50 participants took part in a bicycle rally. The children with disability were distributed with simple devices for home therapy program. The children and parents were guided for special precautions they need to take during COVID situation.
Different cultural programs were organized. Around 50 children with disability participated in these programs. A Drawing and A Debate competition was the main source of attraction.
Dr. Suhas Ambade and Dr. Sandeep Maitreya the noted Anaesthesiologists of the town were the chief guest and guest of honor respectively for the function. Dr. Viraj Shingade presided over the function. Dr. Rashmi Shingade was the key organizer. The cake was cut by two children Asmit Gedam and Samir Tekam.
The physiotherapy department mainly involving Dr. Alpana Muley Dr. Twinkle Naik, Priyanka Mangrulkar, Sonal Warkade and Diksha Ukey took efforts for participation of different children in this program.
Orthotist and splint unit persons involving Mr. Sanjay Ingle Mr. Sandeep Nimje, Avinash Warkade, Ajinky Patil, Santosh Mangrulkar, Rajesh Gaikwad were instrumental in taking out awareness drive and bicycle rally.
Nilima Khandate, Damini Gadpayle,Naina Wahane ,Tulsi Tale,Prajakta Sakhre, Sujata Sahu,Mr Mithun Lokhande were the key persons in organizing different cultural programs on this occasion.
Trustees of NNMF Mr. V.R. Lohakare, Mrs. Ratnadevi Shingade, Dr. Pravin Shingade, Dr. Vaishali Shingade, Mrs. Maya Lohakare took special efforts for various activities conducted on this day.
