A pregnancy showing 4 weeks on ultrasound after only 2 weeks of marriage is medically very possible and does not automatically mean anything wrong or suspicious.

* Ovulation and fertilization usually happen about 2 weeks after the last period in a regular 28-day cycle.
* So when conception has actually happened only around 2 weeks ago, the pregnancy is already called 4 weeks pregnant medically.

That means:

* Marriage: 2 weeks ago
* Conception: possibly soon after marriage
* Ultrasound age: 4 weeks
→ This can be completely normal.

A very early ultrasound mainly estimates gestational age, which is based on menstrual dating, not the exact day the baby was conceived.

An endometrial polyp is a localized overgrowth of the lining of the uterus (endometrium). It may cause:

* Irregular bleeding
