Male 50 yrs. HCV positive. Had undergone few blood transfusion in past.
Came with loss of appetite and epigastric fullness.
USG showed a large heterogeneous, hyperechoic focal lesion in mid liver displacing vessels laterally as well as irregular internal vessels. There is minimal dilatation of intrahepatic biliary radicles in the left lobe of the liver.
Findings favour Neoplastic liver mass, likely Hepatocellular carcinoma.

Male, 30 yrs came with non specific abdominal discomfort. All organs were normal except Incidentally an oval hypoechoic focal lesion was seen along the anterior wall of the gastric fundus. Size 24*12mm.
As it was beneath the mucosa & showed continuity with muscle layer, it was reported as "Leiomyoma."
Endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound showed similar finding.
The lesion is almost same in size for last two years(as the patient is avoiding surgery.)
Such small tumor can be removed by Endoscopy, the procedure is called STER
, Submocosal Tunneling Endoscopic Resection.

Artefact
Artefact is a false or misleading feature on image, which is caused by principles of physics in the equipment.
Like the acoustic shadow which is caused by reflection of the sound by an interface of different acoustic property.
In this mirror image artefact an oval cyst is seen in the posterolateral part of the liver, addionally another similar cyst is seen beyond the diaphragm as if it is in the lung base. Here the hemidiaphragm is acting as a mirror, making a duplicate of the liver cyst.

Male 45 yrs having intermittent melaena for last one year.
USG showed multiple (4-5) focal isoechoic lesions with echo free rims in the liver. (Highly suspicious of metastasis.)
In right Para umbilical area a thickened segment of gut seen. Stomach & ascending colon were normal. This finding favour colonic mass, likely in the transverse colon.
Let us see the findings in colonoscopy.

Focal hepatic lesion
Male 53 yrs came with vague abdominal discomfort. No fever, pain or weight loss.
USG showed a focal isoechoic lesion in the liver, right lobe, segment VI, with an echo poor rim. No internal hypervasculariy. No liquefaction.
Dx? Hepatic Adenoma.
Possibility of malignancy, Primary or secondary is not ruled out.

Woman, forty years came with loss of weight and intermittent painless haematuria for three months. Lately she was having right flank pain.
USG showed
1-Right hydronephrosis with dilated right ureter.
2-Solid tissue in distal right ureter with protrusion at right ureteric or***ce.
3- Focal lesion in the liver.
Impression
Right lower ureteric mass(Urothilial tumor), leading to right hydronephrosis and metastasis in the liver.

Woman 20 yrs has 22weeks normal pregnancy with right anterolateral placenta.
A large elongated cyst, 7-12cms size seen in the retro placental area with fine echoes. No solid areas.
This retro placental cyst has not affected placenta and fetus.
It may be resolving spontaneous haematoma. No history of abnormal bleed or trauma.
Requires follow up.

Woman, forty years, Hepatitis B Positive came for routine check up.
Incidentally the stomach showed thin linear echogenic streaks mimicking septae, on close scrutiny turned out to be prominent gastric rugae. Thick gastric rugae may be normal variant, however it may be seen in gastric tuberculosis or malignancy.
Endoscopy report awaited.
