In India, over 1 percent of children between the ages of two to nine years are diagnosed with ASD. The need to create a wholesome and comprehensive ecosystem for these individuals, that allows them and their families to thrive was felt by Paranjape Schemes. This led to the concept of developing Swaniketan - India's first exclusive homes for the differently-abled and their families.

The purpose of this project is to create a supportive community that empowers the differently-abled individuals to live a life of independence and dignity. The features and amenities at Swaniketan, like the vocational centres will empower individuals to live and work independently.
