How often do we say these two words when we are actually feeling something completely different?
Sometimes “I’m fine” means:
I don't want to talk about it.
I don't know how to explain what I'm feeling.
I don't want to burden anyone.
I'm afraid of being judged.
I've become so used to hiding my emotions that I don't even know what I feel anymore.
We learn to carry on, smile, work, take care of others and appear strong—even when something inside us needs attention.
But what happens to emotions when we keep pushing them away?
In this video, let's pause and look beyond the words “I'm fine.”
Ask yourself:
What am I really feeling?
What emotion have I been avoiding?
What would I say if I didn't have to pretend that everything was okay?
You don't have to have all the answers.
Sometimes, healing begins with something as simple as being honest with yourself:
“I'm not fine right now—and that's okay.”
