“Atha Yog Anushasanam”
Yog begins not only on the mat, but in the way we breathe, nourish, rest, move, and relate to ourselves and the world around us.
Satvic Week at Saya Shala is envisioned as a gentle immersion into mindful living through Yog, breathwork, Yin practices, conscious nourishment, creativity, and community.
The concept of this immersion emerges from the understanding that wellness is not built through intensity alone, but through consistent and aware practices that regulate the body, calm the nervous system, and create inner balance.
From a scientific perspective, the week integrates movement, breath regulation, fascia awareness, restorative practices, and mindful routines that support nervous system health, stress recovery, mobility, emotional regulation, and deeper body awareness.
Philosophically, the immersion draws inspiration from Yogic living where awareness extends beyond Asana into food, breath, rest, relationships, stillness, and daily conduct. Through simple practices, we explore the possibility of creating a more conscious relationship with ourselves and our environment.
This is not a performance oriented wellness program.
It is an invitation to slow down.
To reconnect.
To realign.
