🌊 Flood Health Advisory for Our Patients – Stay Safe, Stay Healthy
Dear patients and well-wishers,
With the ongoing flood situation in our region, your health and safety are our top priority. Floodwater brings several hidden health risks, especially for the skin and overall well-being.
Please follow these important precautions:
🔹 Avoid direct contact with floodwater as much as possible. It may contain harmful bacteria, chemicals, and infections.
🔹 If contact is unavoidable, wash exposed skin immediately with clean water and mild soap.
🔹 Keep your feet dry. Prolonged wetness can lead to fungal infections, itching, and ulcers.
🔹 Use protective footwear while walking through waterlogged areas.
🔹 Watch for signs of skin problems like redness, itching, rashes, boils, or non-healing wounds. Seek early treatment.
🔹 Drink only safe, boiled or filtered water to prevent infections.
🔹 Maintain basic hygiene even in difficult conditions.
⚠️ Patients with diabetes, children, and elderly individuals should take extra care, as they are more vulnerable.
If you notice any skin issues or health concerns, do not delay consultation.
Stay cautious. Stay protected. We are here to help you.
