Angioedema transformation journey✨
Treatment plan: Angioedema is a transient, localized, non-pitting swelling of the deeper dermis and subcutaneous/submucosal tissues, commonly involving the lips, eyelids, face, tongue, and genitalia.
1️⃣Identify and remove trigger: Blood allergy test for identify the triggers then avoid drugs (like ACE inhibitors), foods, insect stings, etc.
2️⃣Oral non-sedating H1 antihistamine, immunosuppressives and short course of systemic corticosteroid.
3️⃣Anaphylaxis/airway involvement: IM adrenaline (epinephrine) immediately, with emergency airway management as required.
