Accommodative Esotropia is a type of squint in which a child’s eyes turn inward due to uncorrected farsightedness. If diagnosed at the right age, many children can be treated successfully without surgery through proper glasses, vision therapy, and regular follow-ups. We have treated and corrected many children with accommodative esotropia through timely non-surgical management.
Accommodative Esotropia एक प्रकार का भेंगापन है जिसमें दूर का नंबर होने के कारण बच्चे की आँखें अंदर की ओर मुड़ जाती हैं। यदि सही समय पर जाँच और उपचार शुरू किया जाए, तो कई बच्चों का बिना सर्जरी के केवल सही चश्मे, विज़न थेरेपी और नियमित फॉलो-अप से सफल इलाज किया जा सकता है। हमने ऐसे कई बच्चों का समय पर non-surgical treatment से सफल सुधार किया है।

A heartfelt thank you to C.L. Gupta Eye Institute, Moradabad, Director Dr. Ashi Khurana, the entire Organising Committee, and especially Mr. Ram Gopal and Mr. Phani Krishna for hosting such a well-organised and impactful conference. It was truly remarkable to witness the largest gathering of practitioners and students in Uttar Pradesh. The house was full, which clearly reflects the tremendous effort Ram Gopal put in to make this conference a grand success.

One such moment was when our young patient, who visits the clinic daily for eye exercises with Himanshu (Clinical Optometrist), lovingly coloured a picture and gifted it to him. This simple gesture reflects the comfort, trust, and beautiful bond developed during his therapy journey. These are the moments that motivate us to give our best every single day.

👀 Why Children’s Eye Health Matters
Many vision problems in children go unnoticed because kids often can’t express what they’re experiencing. Issues like refractive errors, squint, lazy eye, and screen-related eye strain can silently affect their learning, behaviour, and overall development.

Chemical eye injury first aid:

👁 Start immediate irrigation (don’t delay).
👁 Hold eyelids open during flushing.
👁 Use saline / Ringer’s / clean water.
👁 Irrigate for 15–30 minutes continuously.
👁 Direct water from inner to outer corner.
👁 Ask patient to move eyes in all directions.
👁 Remove contact lenses (after starting irrigation).
👁 Remove any solid particles (lime, plaster).
👁 Do not rub the eye.
👁 Do not use neutralizing chemicals.
👁 Cover loosely with clean cloth/sterile pad.
👁 Consult near by urgently to eye specialist

🌿 A Moment That Touched My Heart & Most Beautiful Gift from My Patient 🌿

In the fast-paced world of medicine, our focus often stays on diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. But today, I was reminded of something equally important—human connection.

I received this beautiful handwritten letter from a patient who wanted to express their gratitude—not just for the care, but for the time, kindness, and listening ear.
In an era of quick texts and emails, someone took the time to sit down with a pen and paper and say "thank you."
That means more than words can express.

It's moments like these that remind us why we chose this path.
Behind every prescription or examination lies a story, a family, and a soul that trusts us. That trust is sacred.

I don’t share this to highlight myself, but to celebrate the power of empathy and care in healing.

✨ Milestone Moment ✨

Today, I had the privilege of conducting eye examinations for 7 members of the same family — from the youngest child to the wisest grandparent — all in one sitting. Actually the 8th person was my first patient who later brought all 7 members to the clinic for eye check up.🙌

What makes this moment truly special is not just the number, but the trust they placed in me as their child eye specialist. It’s an incredible feeling when one family entrusts the care of all their loved ones to you — a bond built on compassion, care, and consistent effort. 💙👁️‍🗨️

Moments like these remind me why I chose this path. Thank you to all the families who continue to believe in me and allow me to make a difference — one eye exam at a time.
