A New Chapter for Precision Oncology in Uttar Pradesh and North India.
Advanced molecular diagnostics are now within closer reach for patients across the region.

The Centre for Advanced Molecular Diagnostics and Research for Cancer (CAMDRC), established at Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute (KSSSCI), Lucknow, has commenced clinical services, marking a significant step forward in the Government of UP's efforts to strengthen cancer care through technology and innovation.

Established through a tripartite collaboration between KSSSCI, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and Karkinos Healthcare, CAMDRC brings together clinical excellence, scientific expertise and advanced technology to expand access to Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)-based cancer diagnostics.

The centre will enable an integrated suite of advanced capabilities, including:

• Tissue-based genomic profiling across 20 solid tumour types
• Non-invasive liquid biopsy testing for 5 advanced cancers
• Tele-consultation and digital pathology
• Virtual tumour board discussions
• Cancer research and capacity building for clinicians and technicians

Envisioned as a regional apex hub within a hub-and-spoke model, CAMDRC will help extend access to specialised molecular diagnostics across district hospitals and regional cancer centres, strengthening the ecosystem needed to support more personalised approaches to cancer care.

This development advances the collective vision of a more connected, technology-enabled and genomics-driven cancer care network for the region.
