🍁On World Sunscreen Day, remember that sunscreen is essential for all skin types, including Indian skin tones. Daily use helps prevent tanning, pigmentation, premature ageing, and skin cancers.
☀️For Indian skin, a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30–50 and PA+++ protection is usually recommended. Gel-based or non-comedogenic sunscreens work best for oily and acne-prone skin, while cream-based moisturising sunscreens suit dry or sensitive skin.
👉People with acne or sensitive skin should avoid heavily fragranced or greasy products and always do a patch test before regular use. Reapply sunscreen every 3–4 hours during prolonged outdoor exposure, especially in summers.
💁Along with sunscreen, use umbrellas, caps, sunglasses, and seek shade during peak sunlight hours. Consistent sun protection is one of the best investments for healthy skin.
