🎥 In this interview, Gabriele Sagone, founder of Ukulele del Sorriso, tells the story of a charity project born to support the development of professional music therapy in Italian pediatric hospitals.

At the heart of the project is a unique artisan ukulele, decorated with 24-carat gold leaf and signed by some of the greatest musicians in the world, which will be auctioned to raise funds for this important goal.

As a partner of the 18th World Congress of Music Therapy - Connecting Borders Ukulele del Sorriso also made a meaningful collaboration possible with GEWA Music, which donated percussion instruments to WCMT2026 participants.

But the journey continues: a part of the shakers donated by GEWA Music will soon be donated to music therapy projects across Europe, supporting the daily work of music therapy professionals and bringing music where it can make a difference.

A beautiful example of how collaboration can transform an idea into concrete support for the music therapy community.
