🚨 WE'RE HIRING – NURSING ASSISTANT (DEMENTIA CARE) 🚨
Oldies But Goodies Home Health Care Services is urgently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and highly skilled Nursing Assistant with Dementia Care Training and Certification to join our team in Kingston, Jamaica.
We are looking for someone who is more than just experienced—we need a critical thinker who can assess situations, make sound decisions, and provide exceptional care with patience, dignity, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate must:
✅ Hold Dementia Care Training and Certification
✅ Have at least 1 year of experience caring for persons living with dementia
✅ Be available to start this week
✅ Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
✅ Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
✅ Be able to accurately document care and report changes in a client's condition
✅ Be compassionate, trustworthy, patient, and dependable
✅ Work independently while also being a strong team player
✅ Have current government-issued ID and two professional references
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality personal care and companionship
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
• Observe, document, and report changes in the client's condition promptly
• Promote dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being for clients living with dementia
