Every child deserves a safe childhood—not a life of fear, exploitation, or abuse.
Child trafficking is a heartbreaking reality in Jamaica. According to the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA), 69 incidents of child trafficking were recorded in 2024, and children have accounted for more than 80% of identified human trafficking victims in Jamaica between 2020 and 2025. These are not just statistics—they are children whose futures depend on all of us taking action.
Trafficking can happen in our communities, schools, online, and even through people a child knows and trusts. Awareness, vigilance, and reporting suspicious activity can save a life.
Let’s commit to protecting our children, educating our communities, and refusing to stay silent. Every child deserves the freedom to grow, dream, and thrive.
If you suspect child trafficking or child abuse, report it immediately to the appropriate authorities.
Together, we can make Jamaica a safer place for every child.
