CarbConnect® is heading to India.

CarbGeM Inc. has been selected for METI's FY2026 Healthcare Industry International Expansion Promotion Program Grant (managed by Medical Excellence JAPAN) for a demonstration study on introducing DX/AI solutions in the field of bacterial infections in the Republic of India.

In India, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is reported to be among the leading causes of death, ahead of HIV/AIDS and malaria. In rural areas and smaller facilities, laboratory equipment and specialists are in short supply, so samples are shipped to central labs in cities — and results can take several days.

Building on last year's feasibility study, this project will assess the local deployment potential and market fit of CarbConnect®, our cloud-based AI image analysis and data collaboration platform, and test a sustainable business model for implementation in the Indian market.

CarbConnect® is heading to Kyoto.

CarbGeM Inc. will exhibit at the MeBKY MedTech EXPO'26 Advanced Medical Device Technology Exhibition on August 25–26, 2026, held on the campus of Kyoto University Hospital and hosted by MeBKY, Kyoto University's medical device development support hub.

The exhibition is an invitation-only event created to connect companies holding advanced medical device technologies with the clinicians and researchers of Kyoto University Hospital, with joint R&D as the intended outcome. CarbGeM participates as one of 14 Japanese companies and as the exhibitor representing the AI/DX field.

At our booth, we will present CarbConnect®, our cloud-based AI image analysis platform for the life sciences, together with our broader DX/AI solutions built on image analysis AI, generative AI (LLM), medical data analytics and application development.
