JIHS国際医療協力局の村井真介局員らの論文「Implementing collaborative learning platforms for healthcare quality improvement in Lao PDR: a case study of national forums」が、BMC Health Services Research誌に公開されました。
ラオスでは、医療の質改善（QI）をテーマとした全国フォーラムが4年間にわたり開催されました。本研究の分析から、これらのフォーラムは、参加者が経験を共有し、互いに学びながらQIへの理解と実践を深めていく、継続的な「集団学習（collaborative learning）の場」へと発展していたことが示されました。こうした構造化された集団学習の機会は、QIに関する共通理解や反復的な学習を促し、QIに取り組むための組織的な準備性（QI readiness）を高めることができます。さらに、集団学習は単なる知識や経験の共有にとどまらず、リーダーシップの関与、実装を支える組織風土、知識や情報へのアクセスなど、QIの組織的な実装を形づくる要因に働きかける一つのアプローチとなりうることも示唆されました。

In Lao PDR, national forums on healthcare quality improvement (QI) were held over a four-year period. Our analysis showed that these forums evolved into a continuing platform for collaborative learning, where participants shared experiences, learned from one another, and developed their understanding and practice of QI. Such structured opportunities for collaborative learning can foster shared understanding and iterative learning and may have strengthened organizational readiness for QI. The findings further suggest that collaborative learning can do more than facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience. It may also serve as an approach to addressing factors that shape the organizational implementation of QI, including leadership engagement, a supportive implementation climate, and access to knowledge and information.
