Good morning friends,

In our last forum, we talked about M-ind-Pendence 3.0. Of course, the date is already set for December 6, 2026. We already have the big picture. In the meeting, we discussed the steps we need to take to get there.

It’s not the first time we've had this conversation. It’s been on and on since the year began. By now, one thing is for sure. This year's event will be better than the first two. Time is surely moving fast, but this time we have started early enough. Very soon, we will be giving details about mini M-ind-Pendence.

But that is not the only thing we are anticipating. If you have been away, I would like to welcome you with some good news. If you have been around, take it as a polite reminder. C12 has been nominated for music philanthropist of the year in the MEMA awards.

The voting process is pretty simple, with no restrictions on the number of times one can vote. And the best thing is that we will keep 25% of the funds, which will definitely go to a good course. Here’s the link.

Away from the Gazebo, we go into communities to get testimonies from our members. From these short conversations, we get to learn their life stories, experiences in the hood, and how music and art have influenced their choices.

More often than not, C12 pioneers are mentioned in good light, having influenced some members to change their perspectives, join the community, and begin the journey toward sobriety and mental wellness.

These interviews reveal how much influence the preceding generation has on the next one, especially in the creative space, where certain figures are referred to as GOATs. By the time they receive such titles, it’s not just their art on the weighing scale but every aspect of their lives.

The younger generation imitates not just their creative style, but their lifestyle as well, including how they dress, talk, walk, and even what they consume.

Today, we talk to Gushin Emce Gush in Dandora. Although we have been to this area twice before, his experiences are unique, far from the ones we have heard before.

Of course, the same music legends from Dandora are mentioned repeatedly, but the difference is in his personal experiences with them, and how music, specifically hip hop, influenced his life. Take a listen
