There's this argument I came across here on fb about the pic below; It's about the goat that died from a snake bite and people wanted to feast on it claiming venom only kills when it mixes with the blood in the bloodstream or through wounds but in this case since the venom isn't direct they claim it's actually protein. To some extent this might be true but trust me there's more to it than what you think.

Technically, yes. Snake venom is a complex cocktail of enzymes and proteins. In a laboratory setting, if you were to drop venom into a vat of strong stomach acid, those proteins would be broken down (denatured) into amino acids, just like a piece of steak.
2. The "Injection vs. Ingestion" Rule

Venom must be injected (wounds, bites) to enter the bloodstream directly.

While the author’s chemistry is mostly right, their safety advice is reckless. Eating an animal that died from a venomous bite is an unnecessary game of Russian Roulette with your digestive lining.
