Pregnancy Support from Male Partners

Well we have established that you my dear mans aren't going to carry the baby for those 9months with your woman, but you can make that journey smooth and enjoyable.

Tip number one, make your woman happy, keep her happy as much as you can, let her know and always feel appreciated, loved and celebrated. That will always carry the day.

If your woman loves some good chocolate ice cream, take her out for that once in a while🙂

Well though loosely said a happy pregnancy is a healthy pregnancy.

Keep her smiling today, that's all the support she may need in this trimester.

Pregnancy Support

In my line of service I almost always find myself talking to women only.

Even in my posts I have realized women are always the intended final consumer.

Well here is to the men out there, and before you think I will wear you out with a long post, I promise this is gonna be quick.

And here goes, dear man your woman needs your support more than anything else. You may not bear the hormonal changes, the weight gain and all but I sure know that you can be there for her, and that is something every woman during her pregnancy needs and longs.

So yeah, I challenge you tonight brother, be there for your woman and your unborn baby, it will always go a long way to a healthy pregnancy.

Exercise tips for pregnancy

1. Do not exhaust yourself. You may need to slow down as your pregnancy progresses or if your maternity team advises you to. If in doubt, consult your maternity team.

As a general rule, you should be able to hold a conversation as you exercise when pregnant. If you become breathless as you talk, then you're probably exercising too strenuously.

Exercise During Pregnancy

The more active and fit you are during pregnancy, the easier it will be for you to adapt to your changing shape and weight gain. It will also help you to cope with labour and get back into shape after the birth.

Keep up your normal daily physical activity or exercise (sport, running, yoga, dancing, or even walking to the shops and back) for as long as you feel comfortable.

Exercise is not dangerous for your baby. There is some evidence that active women are less likely to experience problems in later pregnancy and labour.

Exercise is essential during pregnancy, the benefits are tremendous. But one thing to always remember is exercise doesn't have to be strenuous for it to be effective, on the contrary that could be dangerous for you and your unborn baby.

Watch out for our posts as we dig a little deeper on exercise during pregnancy.

Pregnancy dietary health

Tip no one is unmasking the Myth that You're Eating for Two

Helping yourself to double servings of potato salad or ice cream? Not so fast. Yes, you're eating for two -- but that doesn't mean two adult-sized servings are necessary 😄.

A few extra calories are needed, some little more ice cream if you will but not for another adult. Relax let the foetus only consume what the foetus can actually consume.

Happy and healthy feeding for you and your unborn baby.

Contraceptive choice

Oh the list is quite long. There are quite more than a few ways to exercise birth control, some suitable in certain circumstance, others with their pros and cons. All I am saying is with contraception there is no one fit all answer, we must get into the peculiarities of every case.

Dig in some more before you use an implant or a vaginal ring or whatever method seems accessible to you. And most importantly consult a qualified physician before you make up your mind, and an obstetrician gynecologist is just the right kind of doctor for you.

Here for you

Simply put what this post is saying that the prevalence rates of high risk pregnancies has constantly risen with time.

It's more likely now that a woman may not carry her baby through the 9months and see the light of normal childbirth. And this leads us to one reasonable conclusion, it's only wise for one to give her pregnancy due care and attention

An excruciatingly painful period here, a bleeding out of ones timelines there, cramps that won't go away and bleeding that won't cease.

Could be some dietary change, some little stress, or some less worrying cause. Whatever the cause the only sure way is to have it checked. Stay conscious.
