Think your kids are too young to understand your grown-up conversations? Think again!
As soon as children can talk, they're listening to what you say.

In fact, kids can be upset and confused by overheard adult conversations. But they may not tell you what they heard and you won't even know they're worried!

Being attentive when speaking in front of children does not mean that you should cut off all communication in their presence. All you need is to reflect a little bit and put yourself in their shoes.

Here are some things which you should never say in front of kids.

A child can show clinginess as a natural reaction for experiencing separation anxiety, or fear of being separated from a person they trust.

Separation anxiety tends to be strongest from ages 9 to 18 months and usually improves by the time a child is 3.

💡 Here are a few ideas that can help you to ease his attachment.

⚠️ If the behavior is occurring daily, lasting more than several weeks, and is interfering with the child’s life, it may be helpful to consult with a professional.

We all have a huge lid and bottle cap collection, don’t we?

A cool trick would be to upcycle bottle caps into an educational matching activity that your child can play with in many different ways.

One of many simple, yet super ideas for using bottle tops is to match the pattern on the bottle cap with the correct pattern on the paper.

This activity is suitable for kids starting 3 years and can help them develop:
▫️Visual discrimination
▫️Concentration
▫️Correspondence (pattern matching)
▫️Fine motor skills

Try it out and let us know how your child responds 😍

Here’s an easy activity to set up.

The idea is for your toddler to insert colored sticks of the appropriate color into the slots.

This activity will help your kids develop:
- Fine motor skills
- Hand eye coordination
- Concentration
- Cognitive skills
- Color identification
- Color matching
- Spatial concepts (inside/outside)

▫️Age: with colors, 24 months but could be done much earlier; without colors, around 12 months.

💡You could also use colorful straws instead of the sticks!
