Mercury and venus make 2 conjunctions with the sun: inferior and superior.
When inferior conjunctions of mercury and venus happen, they're always retrograde and between the earth and the sun (below the sun hence inferior).
During the superior conjunctions they are NOT retrograde and placed at the opposite side of the earth (above the sun, hence superior).

The moon moves 13° per day so 1° every 2 hours.
That's why you don't know what a cancer placement will do next.

Venus rejoices in 5h bc you should love your children with detachment- allow them to fly away when the time comes.

Moon rejoices in 3h bc if you want to get attached and depend on someone...get attached to the divine mother, the goddess, not to mortal imperfect humans/family.

This is Macklemore's birth chart. Moon in the 16th lunar mansion Al Zubana - "a male born with this mansion is virtuous, laborious, fortunate, and blessed".
Asc in 12th part of Gemini, and his mercury is domicile. That's a good placement even if it falls in natal 12h.

Asc 12th part of Gemini means he rejoices in arts & crafts.
Lot of Fortune in Scorpio so domicile mercury also rules the sign 11th from Fortune (Virgo). Dignified planets ruling 11th from Fortune or placed there is an indicator of eminence.

Virgo being 11th from fortune means scholars and philosophers appreciate and esteem him so he should hang around scholarly people.
