Stop doing these 5 things if you have neck pain:
❌Rushing for anti-inflammatories or pain killers without any medical diagnosis
❌Stacking pillows to sleep
❌Freezing your neck
❌Quitting your daily exercises like walking, stretching
❌Ignoring it once the pain is gone

Worried it’s scoliosis?

Step 1: Orthopedic check 🩻👩🏽‍⚕️
Only a doctor can confirm if it’s scoliosis or just muscular/postural. Imaging + a clinical exam tell the difference.

Step 2: If it’s posture
Physiotherapy helps you build the right exercises to strengthen the back muscles.🧘🏼‍♀️
Osteopathy helps release the restrictions, so you move easie🤸🏼‍♀️

You don’t have to live with discomfort or confusion. Check early. 🤍

Sciatica pain: Do you need surgery?

Not always. Here’s what you should know 👇

Pain isn’t always “sciatica nerve” damage:
Tight lower back muscles
Hip joint tension
Sacroiliac joint/SI joint dysfunction

All of these can mimic true sciatic nerve pain. The nerve is often just irritated by what’s around it.

Skip quick fixes:
Medication or injections may calm pain temporarily, but they don’t fix the cause.

What actually helps:
See a physical therapist or osteopath to check your lower limb alignment + find the true source
If needed, get an MRI through your physician to confirm if the nerve itself is compressed

Quick fixes = temporary relief. Correct diagnosis + targeted treatment = long-term recovery.

Do you need a cervical collar?

Use it short-term if you have:
🔴Severe pain > 8/10 that doesn’t improve with medications
🔴Hand weakness
🔴Numbness or tingling in arm/hand
🔴MRI shows a herniated disc pressing on a nerve

Goal: Reduce pain for a few days → then start physiotherapy.

Avoid it if:
✔️You only have muscle tension or stiffness
✔️Reason: Wearing a collar too long will weaken your neck muscles and slow the recovery.

⚠️Cervical collar should only be used under medical guidance.

🤍Your neck needs movement to heal.🤍
