Kings Hospital Colombo is seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to join our dynamic laboratory team in the Chemical Pathology Department.

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) – Chemical Pathology
📍 Location: Colombo
🔍 Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, and Serology laboratories.
Strong experience in routine and specialized laboratory investigations.
Experience in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and maintaining laboratory standards.
Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analyzers used in Chemical Pathology.
Knowledge of laboratory accreditation standards and safety protocols.
Registration with Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) or a relevant professional body.
Good communication and patient-handling skills.
Basic computer literacy, LIS usage, and data-entry skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate and timely Chemical Pathology investigations.
Maintain and monitor internal and external quality control systems.
Ensure proper sample handling, processing, and reporting.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
Adhere to infection-control and laboratory safety guidelines.
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the laboratory.
