The first day of the 31st Training of Trainer Program was successfully held in the Multipurpose Room of the PGIM Academic Centre on the 02nd of May 2025. This program aims to empower the trainers to provide more effective training to their trainees.
The TOT program is organized by the Medical Education Resource Centre and is conducted as a two day face-to-face workshop running on consecutive dates.
The day 1 of the workshop was conducted by five resource persons: Professor Gominda Ponnamperuma, Dr Himani Molligoda, Professor Ariraranee Gnanathasan, Professor Srilal de Silva, and Professor S Sivaganesh providing interactive sessions to the participants.

The first meeting of the Resource Persons was held on the 25th of April 2025 at the Academic Centre of the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine.
The participants included the resource persons of the Workshop on Professionalism and Ethics Strand for PGIM MD Trainees: Professor Pandula Siribaddana, Professor Narada Warnasuriya, Professor Anoja Fernando, Professor Gominda Ponnamperuma, Professor Madawa Chandratilake, and Dr Himani Moligoda with Ms Symthiya. S. Rexon, the Demonstrator and Ms Kalpani Madhushika, the MA of the Medical Education Resource Centre.
The meeting was focused on optimizing the teaching methods of the Workshop on Professionalism and Ethics Strand for PGIM MD Trainees.
