Umandawa Enhances Public Healthcare with a Generous Ambulance Donation!
In a remarkable gesture of public service, Umandawa Global Buddhist Village today donated a state-of-the-art ambulance worth over 30 million rupees to the Ministry of Health.
Originally gifted to Most Venerable Siri Samanthabhadra Thero by Mr. Ruchika Widanagamage, the Thero selflessly redirected this invaluable resource to benefit the broader public.
The ceremonial handover took place at the Umandawa Mahoshada Hospital premises, where the ambulance was presented to Mrs. Vathsala Priyadarshani, Additional Secretary (Administration) of the Ministry of Health, and Mr. Dinipriya Herath, Deputy Director General.
This initiative reflects Umandawa's unwavering commitment to improving healthcare and serving communities across Sri Lanka.

අද දින Umandawa Global Buddhist Village විසින් ලක්ෂ 300 ට වඩා වටිනාකමකින් යුත් අති නවීන ගිලන් රථයක් සෞඛ්ය අමාත්යාංශය වෙත පරිත්යාග කරනු ලැබිණි. රුචික විදානගමගේ මැතිතුමා විසින් Siri Samanthabhadra Arhat Maha Thero හට පරිත්යාගයක් ලෙස පූජා කරන ලද මෙම ගිලන් රථය, උන්වහන්සේ විසින් සෞඛ්ය අමාත්යාංශයේ අතිරේක ලේකම්(පාලන) වත්සලා ප්රියදර්ශනී මහත්මිය හා නියෝජ්ය අධ්යක්ෂ ජනරාල් දිනිප්රිය හේරත් මහත්මා වෙත උමංදාව මහෝෂධ රෝහල් පරිශයේදී අද දිනයේදී පොදු මහජනතාවගේ හිත සුව පිණිස පරිත්යාග කරනු ලැබිණි
