Diyathalawa Rajya Osusala Relocated to a New Premises

The Diyathalawa Rajya Osusala was relocated and established at a new premises owned by the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation with a modern outlook and improved facilities, effective from January 24. Accordingly, the Rajya Osusala was established at Yahalabadda Road, Diyathalawa.

Due to the limited space and inadequate vehicle parking facilities at the previous location, the management decided to relocate the outlet to a land owned by the Corporation. The new location was easily accessible to the people of the Diyathalawa area and provided ample space along with sufficient parking facilities for a large number of vehicles.

With the noble objective of providing quality medicines to the public at affordable and reasonable prices, the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation continued to establish Rajya Osusala outlets based on public demand and necessity.

Established in 1971 by Professor Senaka Bibile with the primary objective of providing high-quality essential medicines to Sri Lankan citizens at fair prices, the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation has continued for over 54 years to supply quality medicines to the people of Sri Lanka at affordable rates.

The event was attended by the management and officials of the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation, government officials, and a large gathering including Healthcare proffesionals and business community representatives from the Diyathalawa area.
