A successful workshop on interpretation of ‘ROTEM’ (rotational thromboelastometry) and its place in the assessment of haemostasis, patient blood management was held at M H Omar Liver Care Facility - CNCLD, Ragama on 26th January 2026.

This workshop was conducted by Dr Klaus Gorlinger - a well renowned anaesthetist/ haemostasiologist.

The workshop was attended by consultants / trainees / medical officers / medical students and nurses representing multiple specialities including anesthesia , surgery , transfusion medicine , intensive care and paediatrics.
