PSYCHOLOGY ASSISTANT

(c) in possession of a first degree (honours) in Psychology from a recognised University or Institution, but are not yet in possession of a higher degree and relevant experience which qualifies them as Psychologists.

PSYCHOLOGIST

Applicants must be:

(a) citizens of Malta;

(b) proficient in the Maltese and English languages;

(c) individuals who are registered as psychologists with the Malta Psychology Profession Board, in possession of a relevant Masters Degree (MQF Level 7) and in possession of a registered warrant.
Moreover, candidates who do not yet meet the criteria mentioned in point (c) above, but are in possession of a Masters’ Degree (MQF Level 7) in a practitioner area of psychology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised University or Institution, that will lead to the attainment of a recognised warrant by the Malta Psychology Profession Board, will still be considered. In this latter case the candidate would be appointed as Psychology Practitioner and be paid the basic salary and allowances associated with this grade, and would be able to be promoted to Psychologist upon the attainment of a warrant from the Malta Psychology Profession Board.
