As part of our ongoing journey through Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), Unit 3 helps young people understand the physical, emotional and social changes that occur during adolescence.

It provides age-appropriate and scientifically accurate information to help adolescents develop confidence, self-awareness and respect for their bodies and those of others.

🔹 Understand what adolescence is and how it is a normal stage of development
🔹 Recognize the physical, emotional and social changes that occur during puberty
🔹 Learn about the female reproductive system and its functions
🔹 Develop an understanding of menstruation and menstrual health
🔹 Learn about the male reproductive system and its functions
🔹 Build self-esteem, body confidence and respect for diversity
🔹 Develop knowledge and skills to make healthy and informed decisions
