一家充满烟火气息的小店。❤️
📍Yuan Fung Kopi House 源丰茶餐室, Lintas Square
(the row behind Maybank)
It was a random pick for a quick lunch, and despite being almost full house during my visit, the service was still pretty prompt.
It’s the kind of place where u will find good old comfort food. We had chu wat pork mix pork soup, Sarawak laksa nyong chap, zhu wat kon lau mee and chicken feet.
The chu wat is my favourite! Very meaty, and it really tastes like my mum’s cooking - super comforting. ❤️ The soup is light but flavourful, just like home-cooked soup. (But don’t drink the laksa first la, otherwise the pork soup will taste tasteless after la)
Their kuey teow is the thin type, which I LOVE! And the kon lau mee comes with the flat-type noodles - exactly my kind of noodles. 😍 Good that the food here is not those greasy / heavy type, it won’t make me bloated afterwards.
The Sarawak laksa is not the super kaw-kaw type, but once you add in their sambal, the taste is on point juga la. Ok passed 👌🏻
Chicken feet were the off-the-bone tender type. The flavour is quite unique. Peppery is the first taste I noticed, with dried chilli flakes and black pepper biji.
Overall, a simple, comforting kopitiam meal that hits the spot. 👌🏻
Operation hours: 6am–3pm daily
