are the 2 main steps your cells use to turn DNA into working proteins.

A)Transcription 。。。
Transcription is the process where a cell copies a gene's DNA sequence into a temporary message called messenger RNA (mRNA).

1)Location:
This happens inside the nucleus in eukaryotic cells.

2)Enzyme:
An enzyme called RNA polymerase binds to the start of a gene and unzips the DNA.

3)Building mRNA:
The enzyme reads the DNA template strand and builds a matching single-stranded mRNA molecule by pairing complementary bases.

4)Base changes:
In RNA, the base uracil (U) replaces the thymine (T) found in DNA.

5)Processing:
In eukaryotes, the raw mRNA gets a cap and a tail, and non-coding parts called introns are spliced out before it leaves the nucleus.

B)Translation 。。。
Translation is the process where the cell uses the mRNA code to build a protein.

1) Location:
This happens in the cytoplasm at a structure called a ribosome.

2)Reading the code:
The ribosome reads the mRNA instructions in groups of three bases called codons. Each codon asks for a specific amino acid.

3)Bringing pieces:
Transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules act as delivery trucks. Each tRNA has an anticodon that matches the mRNA codon and carries a specific amino acid.

4)Growing the chain:
The ribosome connects these amino acids together into a long chain called a polypeptide.

5)Stopping:
When the ribosome hits a special "stop" codon, the finished protein chain releases and folds into its working shape.

Yes, cellular RNA comes directly from DNA through a process called 【Transcription】。

How RNA is Made from DNA 。。。
1)The Template:
Inside the cell, an enzyme called RNA polymerase attaches to a specific region of a DNA strand.

2)Unwinding:
The enzyme unwinds a small section of the DNA double helix to expose the genetic code.

3)Building the Strand:
RNA polymerase reads the DNA sequence and matches free-floating RNA nucleotides to the DNA template using basic base-pairing rules (adenine pairs with uracil, and cytosine pairs with guanine).

4)The Result:
This newly built, single-stranded molecule is messenger RNA (mRNA), which carries the instructions out of the nucleus to build proteins。

Yes, in living cells, most RNA is made from a DNA template through a process called transcription. An enzyme called RNA polymerase copies the DNA sequence to build a single-stranded RNA molecule.
