First day in Bangkok. 🇹🇭

Thank you to the three clinics that welcomed me and gave me the opportunity to share my experience with Deusaderm collagen fillers for periorbital rejuvenation.

While I was there to share what has worked in my practice, I left with many new ideas and valuable lessons from fellow doctors. These exchanges are a reminder that none of us stop learning, regardless of how many years we have been practicing.

Grateful for the trust, hospitality, and friendships. Looking forward to continuing this journey of learning and growing together.

Honored to have been invited as a speaker at ADAMS. Thank you .leekoksiang and for the opportunity.

It was a privilege to share my experience, exchange ideas with passionate colleagues, and learn from so many inspiring experts. Every opportunity to teach also reminds me how much there is to keep learning.

🚨 Everyone wants the best deal.

But there is a difference between a discount and a compromise.

A recent counterfeit aesthetic device case in Malaysia should be a wake-up call for all patients.

The problem isn’t that people look for affordable treatments.

The problem is when price becomes the ONLY thing they look at.

Before any treatment, ask:

✓ Is the device authentic?
✓ Is the clinic authorized?
✓ Can they verify the machine?
✓ Is there proper training and support behind it?

The cheapest treatment is not always the most affordable treatment if you end up paying twice to fix the results.

I often get asked why I’m willing to teach doctors who may eventually become “competitors.”

My answer is simple:

In medicine, I believe in standards.

Healthcare is not a marketplace where knowledge should be guarded for advantage. If anything, it’s the opposite.

The real “competition” is not between doctors.

It’s against:
• Poor technique
• Outdated practices
• Preventable complications
• Misleading information in aesthetics

And I would rather have more well-trained doctors in the field than fewer doctors protecting knowledge for exclusivity.

Because when education is shared, patients win.

And that has to come first — always.

Yes, the industry is competitive. Yes, aesthetics is commercially driven.

But the moment education becomes about ego, territory, or profit protection, patient care becomes secondary.

And that’s a line I personally don’t cross.

At the end of the day, patients don’t care who trained who.

They care about safety, results, and trust.

And that’s the only metric that truly matters.

Successful periorbital treatment is not simply about filling a tear trough. It requires understanding the complex relationship between bone remodeling, fat compartment changes, ligament support, skin quality, and facial proportions.
